Change Finder toolbar View dropdown to icons

Hi there,

I just set up a new laptop running Monterey. There's one thing I can't figure out and it's really bugging me! I don't like having the Finder toolbar's View section as a dropdown menu, I liked the old way with individual icons instead, because my fingers are used to changing those at a single click and I do it frequently.

However when I go to Customize Toolbar, in the customize preview it actually displays them as individual icons, and yet when I drag it to the top of my finder, they're back in a dropdown. Is there any way to get the individual icons to display?
