MacBook Air m1 screen

My friend happened to touch my MacBook Air m1 screen with a pen while the cap was on. The plastic part of the cap touched the screen lightly. Could it cause damage? Although, I don't see anything strange as of now...

If there is no visible evidence of damage then it is not damaged.


Physical damage manifests in a visible crack in the glass, usually accompanied by obvious distortion of the displayed image.


Most common damage is caused by closing the lid on a pen or similar object. Don't do that.
