MacBook M1 Pro and AKG / SAMSUNG USB-C headset connection

I found that when I plug in my AKG/SAMSUNG USB-C headset to my MacBook M1 Pro it doesn't appear on the Sound output list. The solution for this is just to press a few times the volume up or down buttons on the headset's cable. No resetting of anything is needed.

After resetting my PRAM and SMC several times, my Mac refuses to see the 3.5mm port or the headset. Has anyone else found a way to make the USB C 3.5mm audio adapter work with their 2020 Macbook Pro?

ABKO USB gaming headset not recognized by MacBook Pro Older ABKO gaming headset, I think model CH55, with a USB connector, so I am using a USB-C adapter to plug it into a new 14" MBP, and the sound settings panel doesn't recognize the headset at all. I can see that the headset is getting power because the rainbow lights are on. How do I get the ABKO gaming headset to work on my new MBP? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
