Unable to contact the iMessage and FaceTime server. Try again

For some reason I can not activate iMessage and FT this week. Its been working fine for the past 12months and for no apparent reason it won’t connect we keep getting the message “Unable to contact the iMessage server. Try again”. I have rebooted the modem and update the iPad but still no change in activation status.


Has anyone else had this issue and had success rectifying the issue?
