You have an iPhone 13 Pro Max . Your iPhone is still covered under Apple’s 1YR Limited Warranty. I recommend that you take advantage of this warranty and contact 👉 Apple Support for further diagnosis and a resolution.

Some apps that stream video will open, but when a video is selected to play the loading icon just spins and spins. It rarely gives an error message. When it does, it is non-specific "This video cannot be played right now.....". This happens with Netflix, Viaplay and most of Reddit.

Other apps with video are not affected, e.g. Youtube, NRK TV, Altibox.

I've cleared cache, deleted the apps and reinstalled them. Nothing works. I paid a month's rent for this 3 day old iPhone 13 Pro Max. For it to not be able to play Netflix is ridiculous.

OK. So this issue is isolated to a Wi-Fi Network. If this is your home Wi-Fi Network then it can be a bandwidth issue or a download speed issue. Contact your Wi-Fi Service provider to review the service and settings on your Wi-Fi Network.

The other thing to do is to try a different Wi-Fi Network and see if those video services play properly. This will ensure that the issue is with a specific Wi-Fi Network and not your iPhone.

This is not a wifi issue. This is an "iPhone 13 Pro Max being incapable of loading all videos that are behind a paywall while on wifi" issue. My wifi network delivers 170 Mbps. Here is a list of things that operate just fine on the wifi:

iPhone 8

iPhone 11

Samsung Galaxy A52

iPhone 6s

Samsung pad

HP Elitebook

HP Photosmart 5524

Macbook

Google Chromecast

just to name a few..............

I have reset the wifi router and that still did not work. So I hope you understand that I cannot accept that this is a wifi issue. Please help.
