Macbook Pro Battery is Not Charging, dies when unplugged

Hi all,

Mid-2012 Macbook Pro 13 inch, nonretina. Recently (September '21) had the 500gb HDD upgraded to a 1tb SSD, the 4gb RAM to 10gb, and the battery replaced. It was working fine once upgraded, lightning fast due to the new memory and hard drive, one day I unplugged the charger cable and the laptop immediately turned off despite being at 68% at the time - power button did nothing, battery indicator lights showed nothing at all. It turns on immediately when plugged in, but the battery % has been steadily decreasing. Tried another charger and different powerpoints. charger indicator light doesn't change and the laptop turns on immediately instead of how it normally should for SMC reset. Was able to reset PRAM but it did nothing. Despite dying immediately when inplugged, it was still useable, but after a few days without use the battery is saying it is on 1% and the computer is incredibly sluggish. Here are screenshots from the battery menu, system report, and coconut battery. Just updated from Mojave to Catalina 10.15.7 to no avail. Please let me know if you need any more information, and thanks in advance for any help!

If not Apple you can install a third party BATT... third party batteries are a crapshoot.

MacBook Pro Battery Replacement Kits from OWC ...

2012 is old enought o have an issue with the DC-in board. This is a relatively inexpensive repair if that is the issue.

For ~$50.00 most any computer repair shop can check that for you... ~ total Parts & labor $115.00 USD

You can always try resetting the SMC http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
