Calender lay out iphone

Upgraded from ios 13.6 to ios 15.3 only to find calende lay out less functional. Date was previously marked with grey background and easier to see when scrolling. Now both dstes snd events are white. Before dates were marked with bold font and events with normal font, now both are bold. Before time were om left side before the colour marking, which made it easier to ser when you had something scheduled, now its on right side. All this have made the calender less visual/functional.

is there something I can do?
