I have an iPhone 5s and when the screen is white you can see these brighter spots on the screen. They are hard to see because of camera quality. Ignore those colourful things on the screen, thats also because of my camera. I am guessing maybe its a backlight problem but I am not sure.
OK - see it now. They seemed like rather large cracks without any noticeable impact point. But yeah if there's any kind of dimming of the backlight in small areas, it's not repairable. Only a replacement with a good condition screen assembly is going to fix it.
There are two extremely noticeable cracks. Looks like it was dropped. Probably not much you can do about it other than replacing it, and for such an old device I'm not sure it's worth it.
