I bought the 200gb storage and it’s not uploading any of my photos to the iCloud. I followed all the steps and still nothing.

Why isn’t my phone uploading the photos to iCloud? I bought enough storage.

the only things I can think of double checking are all in the Settings App. 1) Check iClould settings to make sure Photos are toggled on. 2) In Cellular look to make sure the option is on to sync even when not attached to WiFi. 3) The Photos Settings to check that it is on to save photos to the iCloud.

just to let you know, it takes a really long time so you might not see anything right away.

Wait it Out:

Being lots of items, it is going to take some time for all to sync. So, wait it out. All will complete.

I honestly turned it off a few times because mine was taking so long and I just couldn’t take it! I ended up breaking the photos out and saved them in smaller groups in file folders I set up. Then let each folder save to the cloud. Even that took to long for me to sit and watch. Folders held about 300 photos each.

I didn’t save them in photos. I broke them out and saved them in a file structure that I was able to manage. I won’t admit to how many thousands of photos I had but it just wasn’t going to be the best option for me. I have saved more important timeframes in photos on my Mac but not synced to the cloud. I am a screenshot junkie which is a huge part of the problem I had. Thanks for all of your feedback!
