What are the risks?

Hi all! I recently sold my previous iPhone. I factory reset it before handing it over, however it required my passcode (forgot to remove it from iCloud) when the buyer started entering their info. I entered the passcode for the buyer (without disclosing it) and the buyer proceeded to enter their details. Within the next 10-20 minutes I removed the device from iCloud and changed Apple ID password.

What are the chances that the buyer managed to sync/download any information from my iCloud or previous device settings? Or that any info was left over from previous settings?

If Find My iPhone is not disabled when you restore it to factory settings, then your iPhone will ask you to enter the code for your Apple ID during the setup afterwards.

After writing the code, you unlock the iPhone for a new user. It does not sign in to your Apple ID. If the buyer has entered his own information afterwards, then the buyer can not be signed in to your Apple ID as well.

If you even changed the code to your Apple ID and removed the device from iCloud (and it has not come back) then you should be on the safe side.
