Is it possible to connect my old printer HP Lasejet 1020 to MacOS 12.2? I've found drivers for MacOs 12 and for HP LJ 1022. I do think drivers for 1022 are compatible with 1020 but it's impossible to install them in MacOS 12…

Remove the existing printer in Systems Preferences/Printers & Scanners and add the Apple-supplied driver for HP Laser Jet 1022, 16.1.
Do not use anything from the HP website. The driver you need is part of the Monterey OS.
I found the OS updates frequently require re-installation of printers.

The driver for the HP LaserJet 1022, 1.6.1 will work fine.

Thank you. But where to get this driver? The one I can download from support.hp.com is not compatible with MacOS 12.2. The error on the screen below says that it's compatible with MacOS 12 or older :(
It worked and then stopped working. I tried to re-install but it no longer works.
