Why is my swap file not being used round 2? New data.

OK, can someone explain to me why the swap file isn't being taken advantage of here with the memory pressure being in the yellow?


The first image below is swap not being used, despite mp being yellow.


The second image below is the swap file actually being used when it seems it's not really needed.


Both are after recovering from my multiple hard-drives debacle.

I ran the diskutil mount command in the answer posted by lint. And now I'm getting significant swap usage! And Memory Pressure isn't constantly growing as it did before.


Oh, it appears to be a bug when you boot off of an external drive.
