Cannot add songs to playlist [Apple Music]

Hello, I am having issues adding songs to my playlist. Let me explain my problem. I search for a song and try to add it to my playlist, it doesn't add.

I've tried a good few things to fix this. I hope to narrow down answers that won't work for me so here's a list.

I've tried syncing my music library, nothing changed.
I've reinstalled the app but that also doesn't seem to work.
I've tried adding songs to other playlists, the same problem occurs.

I've also noticed that it works fine on iTunes, it just doesn't translate to my phone.

Also, quick note, when I try adding music to my library on my phone, it doesn't add there either. I can't even download songs on my phone. I do indeed have an Apple Music subscription--it expires on the 23rd of March.

I hope to get a fix for this because I honestly love Apple Music. It would be a pleasure to fix this.

Given what you're describing, we'd recommend that you Contact Apple Support so that they can look into this in greater detail with you. This does suggest the issue is specific to the phone, so they can help see what's going on.

Hello. My problem started occurring about a week or two ago.

When I add a song it shows me the splash screen that you would normally see. The one that says the song has been added to your playlist. When I go to check my playlist, the song doesn't show and the amount of songs on my playlist doesn't update.

I have 449 songs on my main playlist currently and can't add more. It's not the playlist's fault however, it does the same with all the other playlists I have.

I have tried restarting my phone, but that also doesn't work. I can freely add songs on iTunes but it doesn't show on my phone.

I have also tried my iPad, it works fine on there. But it doesn't sync with my iPad and I still cannot add/download songs. I have double-checked the "sync library" switch in settings and it is on.

I'm sure we can fix this together. Thank you!
