How to Cut and Past on an iPad:

There is no command key -- its a matter of selecting the text.

How to Cut and Past on an iPad:

There is no command key -- its a matter of selecting the text.

cut copy & past is via tap & hold or tap, draw over for selection of entered text to edit. When you lift your finger you’ll see on screen controls for Copy, Cut or Paste which is contextual based on either no previous action (no paste will show in this context, but replace invokes text correction using built in spell correction via dictionaries), or you’ll see options needed at that time, along with other functions. Keep an eye on arrows from the pop up contextual menu that show more options available.


There should be a tips guide in Notes app which can help you familiarize using the iPad.
