I have an iphone 13 pro max that I have been charging overnight and woke up to it being disabled. I am confused as to what might have caused this, probably ghost typing. I know the password to this iphone and all my other apple devices. I do not currently have a backup and have important files and documents that I urgently need to retrieve from the phone. Is there any way to unlock the phone as this is ridiculous.
Unfortunately if your phone is in disabled mode, it is too late to save any data. All you can do now is restore your phone using these instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204306. Once you get it restored, set it up for an automatic iCloud backup daily.

Is a phone 12 that is disabled also useless now?
