Obtain a copy for OS X Monterey 12.2.1

Trying to obtain a (DMG or .iso) to recover MacBook. I've tried downloading OS X Monterey for the Apple store several times and right at the end of the 3 hour download I get an error "An error occurred while running scripts from the package "InstallAssistant.pkg""

I've tried the terminal command in several article's, they do not work either. RE: How to create a bootable installer for macOS ( sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Monterey.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/MyVolume)

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with installing macOS Monterey on your MacBook Pro.
