My old Mac does not power on; bought new battery and new cable to charge and none of these works. It’s a refurbished Mac. I am not going to be able to transfeer Lightroom 6 to my new Mac.

Did you use TimeMachine in the past to create a backup of your MacBook Pro?

If yes, you can restore the new Mac from that backup, which will also transfer all programs that were installed at the time of the backup.
