My old Mac does not power on anymore, I bought new batteries and new charge cable still didn’t work. It’s a refurbished device someone gave me and I install LR. My question is if this computer doesn’t work anymore am I going to be able to put LR 6 in my new Mac ?

Did you use TimeMachine in the past to create a backup of your MacBook Pro?
If yes, you can restore the new Mac from that backup, which will also transfer all programs that were installed at the time of the backup.

To your question. Depends on what year MacBook Pro you have. If it's one of the earlier ones. You could have the hard drive removed. Then with usb to SATA connector use migration assistant to transfer to the new Mac. The type connector would depend on what ports you need to use on new Mac.
