Poor video quality on iphoneX

Now I know this is probably a case of operator malfunction, but I'll ask anyway. Why are the videos I record played back in such poor quality? There's no way they're better than 144p. This is supposed to be an excellent phone. Please help.

Blurry videos I noticed that my videos come out glitchy/Blurry as soon as I start recording… I don’t know if this has to do with the update but I hope it can get fixed or if there’s anything I can do to fix that problem?I noticed it on other IPhone users as well.
