The password for my new apple ID works on my computer, but not on my iPhone.

I have an iphone and I created a new apple id, so that i am no longer sharing an apple id with someone else.

I can log in to my apple id on the appleid.apple.com website, but not from my iphone. Sometimes it says that it cannot connect to the server, and sometimes it says that my password is incorrect, and sometimes it says that my account has been locked for security reasons. I have tried restarting my iphone, but that does not help.

My device is listed on the apple id webpage, but not on my phone.

Most things work, but I am not able to use Find My iPhone. My phone is still visible to others in my family.

How can I get my password to work on my iphone? (and yes, I am typing the password correctly)

Welcome to Apple Support Communities! If we understand correctly, you're running into an issue with using your Apple ID and password on your iPhone. We can understand wanting to have this up and working. Are you following these steps when you attempt to Sign in with your Apple ID? If not, start there.
