I'm trying to make my Terminal Background transparent as it was before the update, idk what's the issue here is my settings
Also, I created a new profile but the same issue occurred
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.2
Click the Background color inkwell on that Terminal Preferences > Text panel. This will open a color picker, where there are opacity and blur sliders that allow you to fine-tune the transparency and blur of your Terminal window. Mine is set to black and as I reduce opacity, I can see the Desktop through the Terminal window in either macOS 11.6.4 or macOS 12.2.1.

Did you select that profile? Try making the change in the image below and then opening a new window. Does it work?

I don't know why it is not working for you.
I just opened a new window using "Pro" profile, next to one using the "Basic" profile, and it all works:
Based on the user's screen shot, looks like they did that already.
I did that already as you see in my screenshot. Before, the background was transparent and now idk what's happen
Yes I'm selecting that profile, it was transparent before until something happened idk what it is, maybe it's an update
