Dial Assist Stopped working after updating to iOS 15.3.1

Dial assist on my iPhone 13 Pro Max stopped working. In the past, it would automatically insert the correct area code on outgoing calls made within my area code (561). I would only need to dial 7 digits. That stopped working and now when I place a local call, I am required to hang up and call back, inputting all 10 digits. I was advised to update my phone to the latest version of iOS, which I did. I was advised to turn off Dial Assist, reboot my phone and turn it back on. Which I did. It still is not working. Any suggestions as to what I should do next to get it working again? Thank you.
