Ipad and Scanner

Need help. I have Several iPads that are connected to HID scanners. When a barcode is scanned the onscreen keyboard on iPad disappears. Looking for a setting or 3rd party software that will stop the keyboard from being suppressed when an barcode is scanned. The scanner does not have any features to help with this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Barcode Scanner Issue I use a hand held scanner to scan the barcodes of our merchandise. After installing iOS 16.5 the iPads do not recognize the barcode when an item is scanned. The scanner is successfully connected in the list of blue tooth devices and it does beep when scanning a barcode. It's just that nothing happens after it is scanned. I have already opened support tickets with the software parties involved with the apps we use. But they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. (This is a known problem that is affecting their clients with both software parties). I have exhausted all troubleshooting steps to correct the issue. But nothing works. Is anyone else experiencing issues with the iPad iOS 16.5 update?

QR scanner has disappeared from my iPad Pro desktop through none use probably, how do I getting back the original Apple app back onto my desktop? QR scanner app has disappeared from the desktop on my iPad Pro & IPhone 6, probably through not being used. Code scanner is set to included in control centre and scan QR code’s is set to on in camera setting but no app on desktop. How can I regain the app, or download the same app free from App Store? Not a tech so simple solution will be appreciated. Many thanks for any help!

Try :

Scan a document :

Open Notes and select a note or create a new one.

Tap the Camera button , then tap Scan Documents .

Place your document in view of the camera.

If your device is in Auto mode, your document will automatically scan. If you need to manually capture a scan, tap the Shutter button or one of the Volume buttons. Then drag the corners to adjust the scan to fit the page, then tap Keep Scan.

Tap Save or add additional scans to the document.
