Barcode Scanner Issue

I use a hand held scanner to scan the barcodes of our merchandise. After installing iOS 16.5 the iPads do not recognize the barcode when an item is scanned. The scanner is successfully connected in the list of blue tooth devices and it does beep when scanning a barcode. It's just that nothing happens after it is scanned.

I have already opened support tickets with the software parties involved with the apps we use. But they are aware of the issue and are working on a fix. (This is a known problem that is affecting their clients with both software parties). I have exhausted all troubleshooting steps to correct the issue. But nothing works.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with the iPad iOS 16.5 update?

iPadOS 16.5 is current. If you have not already updating to this version, you should do so.

Otherwise, given that vendors are aware of the problem - and are working on a fix - you’ll need to wait for an appropriate update/fix to be issued.
