Not able to drag while scrolling (using two fingers to scroll)

I was able to drag a file/element and scroll (using two fingers to scroll) before the recent MacOS update - Monterey.

Anybody else having the same issue?

Hello Sam542,

Thanks for the additional information. Try booting into safe mode to see if the same thing happens. Safe mode can help bypass software that can cause issues: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

You can also test in a new user account. This will help determine if the issue is occurring within the whole system, or just your profile:

Set up users, guests and groups on Mac - Apple Support

If the issue persists, Contact Apple for support and service.

Thank you for your response.

However, the problem isn’t scrolling with just two fingers. I am able to scroll with two fingers just fine.

The problem is DRAGGING an element/file while SCROLLING with two fingers. For example, when using Pages, I used to DRAG (holding the left click button) an element while at the same time SCROLL (two fingers) quickly to the others pages to where I needed to drop the image.

I have checked the trackpad gestures in settings and also restarted my Mac. This hasn’t solved the issue. As I mentioned in my original question, the issue happened after updating the OS.
