Sharing iTunes Library with Remote app and other PC

The iTunes library on one PC (PC1) is available on the Remote app (on my iPhone and iPad) and on another PC (PC2) when I first launch the iTunes library but becomes greyed out after several minutes on the Remote app and is no longer visible on PC2. The really odd thing is that the iTunes library on PC2 is still available on PC1. Any ideas what is going on with PC1?

Hey there, and welcome to Apple Support Communities, teamtirzah!

From our understanding, you have two PC’s (PC1 and PC2) but, PC2 keeps disconnecting from the app. We can certainly understand your concern and can help provide some insight.

Is PC2 signed in with the same Apple ID that is used on the phone and connected to the same wireless network as the phone?

Thanks for your reply Shannon. I double checked and the same Apple ID and the same network are being used. I did sign out and back in on all devices with the same (correct) Apple ID. I have rebooted all devices and my home router and I still have the same issue. I removed and reinstalled iTunes on the PC having issues (PC2) but still have the same issue. I checked out the link you included but nothing has changed.
