Where do I find the Apple Watch app?

I set up the watch as instructed with my phone but the only app I now have is the Fitness one.


I looked on the Apple store but I do not see any specific from Apple.

If you setup the watch properly and paired it with your iPhone, then the Watch app should automatically appear on the iPhone. Search for it - it may be hidden in a folder or on another screen. You should not be able to delete it.

If you still can't find it, the first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

If that doesn't help, the next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup just created. This should result in no loss of data. It deletes all temp and corrupted files and re-indexes the file system.
