How to use apple pen on iPad to draw without having my hand make marks all over page?

When using the Apple Pencil on the iPad, if you place your hand in contact with the screen, it should not make any marks. Check Settings>Apple Pencil and check the setting for Only Draw with Apple Pencil. Just keep your hand/wrist in contact with the screen and it should only show markings from the Pencil.
