Roku not showing up on Airplay popup

My Roku Stick stopped showing up as an option for Airplay/mirroring on my iPad. It worked fine for months. But now, when I attempt to Screen Mirror or use Airplay from a video, the Roku no longer appears. Both devices are on the same wireless network and I'm not aware of having changed anything between the time it worked to the present.

I've already read the Roku and Apple instructions about how to use Airplay several times but they all assume that the Roku device will appear on the menu. But it does not appear on the menu, in my case.

Thanks.

Hello there PabloH3,

Thanks for taking the time to join us in Apple Support Communities! We understand you're having difficulty using AirPlay with your iPad and Roku device. We're glad you're here, and we can help.

To begin, make sure your Roku is a supported device for AirPlay. Have a look at this link to view a list of supported devices:

iOS Home Accessories - Airplay 2-Enabled TVs and Devices

If you do see your specific device listed in the link above, but it's still not working with AirPlay, you'll want to work through the additional steps in this support article:

If screen mirroring or streaming isn't working on your AirPlay-compatible device

We hope this information is helpful. Don't hesitate to let us know if you have any more questions.

Take care!
