Redeem fcpx on el capitan in 2022

I bought fcpx education bundle and it doesn't work on el capitan. In the mac app store, they letting me know that I can't download the program (need 11.15) but why it doesn't add it to my apple id account? Am annoyed since my friend who bought is mbp 5,5 at the same time - do run fcpx and he installed it via the mac app store... how could I add the program to my account without downloading it? Do I absolutly need to a recent computer and add the program from there and then come back to my mbp 5,5 and download the correct version from the mac app store?
