i would like to prevent my messages from going to another family members I pad. Apple will not let me set up a new account because their email is already taken?

We have multiple I pads in our household. Messages go to all devices, and we would like to eliminate this.

Family Sharing/Apple ID I have an Apple ID with my Dad's e-mail address. This is used by my Dad, Mum and myself. We have used this for many years but I would like to try and separate the IDs. I'm thinking of using the Family Sharing feature. I'm the only one that uses iCloud for photos and I want to make sure if I make my Dad is the organiser (as its his e-mail address), once I log into a "new" ID and we "share" iCloud - will I still be able to access them on iCloud as its still the same phone (if that makes sense)? I guess my messages on iMessage will be OK as well as its my phone number being used and not my Dad's password? Thanks for your help :-)

You will each need to set up your own Apple ID and stop sharing just the one.
