M1 Macbook Air Battery Drain on USB WiFi Receiver Mouse

Hi, I have recently bought the 2020 M1 MacBook Air (8GB/256GB) and the battery backup is really amazing. However, I have noticed that when I connect my Logitech M235 Mouse via USB WiFi Receiver through a Type C to USB 3 Adaptor(Dyazo), the battery drain is much more than what I expected. I do expect some drop considering that adaptor and USB Wifi receiver, both are drawing some power. But, I wasn't hoping that the drop after connecting a 5 Volt USB WiFi Receiver (via Type C adaptor) would be that noticeable in daily usage.

I have used this Wifi USB Receiver mouse on my windows laptop and the rate of battery drop is hardly noticeable when compared to the usage of laptop without connecting it. And I was expecting the same on MacBook as well.

I can say with my usage over a month, that battery drops twice as fast when I have connected the mouse via this adaptor.

Considering, this adaptor(Type C to Type A USB 3.1) is not a full fledge thunderbolt adaptor or dock and the neither I am doing any data transfers with it, all I have connected is a WiFi receiver to it, I expected approx. same backup.

Has anybody experienced the same?

Note: I am just talking about this specific use case of Type C to Type A adaptor used in conjunction with WiFi USB Receiver of a mouse. I am aware, when other adaptors and accessories are used, significant battery drop is expected.
