My iPhone has been connecting to a strange bluetooth device

Whenever I have my bluetooth on, My phone has been connecting to a strange bluetooth device that is just a bunch of letters and number. It says connected but I am not given the information icon in order to disconnect to it. I would like to figure out if this is a concern or if my device is being hacked and if so how i can fix this because sometimes it cuts off my sound. I do not have a managed device, this is not a work phone or anything like that so I have no idea what this mysterious device could be. Any advice?

That is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device that is paired directly with an app on your phone. It could be a game controller, a household appliance, etc. There is an app on your phone that it is communicating with.
