I have a project that's an MP4 from a streamed performance. There's quite a bit of vibration periodically and herky jerky camera work. It looks like the more stabilization I use, the more the image gets cropped. Is that how it works?

It doesn’t actually crop out, it scales it up so as not to show outside the image. If you scale it back down you’ll see black on the edges of the frame where it’s rotated.

You can make edits of the clip so you can fine tune the settings for the most extreme motion sections.
Using Automatic was clearly part of the problem - I think! Anyway, thanks for the info!
