Hey there,
Tried the airpod reset guidance and the right side airpod still doesn't have sound. These are less than a month old and I've used them less than 5 times in total so normal wear and tear should not be an issue. What's wrong with my airpod and how do I get a new one/repair this one?

Depending on the application, it may have the ability for balance settings. So, overview the application.
C. Wiggle it Around:
What happens when you giggle it around al little bit. Does that fix it?
D. Clean Debris:
Clear Out Earwax: How to Clean your AirPods and EarPods - Apple Support. Use a microfiber cloth for this.
E. Reset These:

Troubleshooting AirPods Sync:
Three Things...
A. How many AirPods pairs do you own? If a few, and are under the same name, then that would get a bit confusing. So, rename the other pair(s).
B. Rename These:
See what happens when you try to rename these. It might get them to sync again. If they both rename, then obviously they are the same pair. Go Here: Change the name of your AirPods on iPhone - Apple Support
No Success?...

I agree: Its time for a new pair.
