unlink apple id from verizon unlimited music subscription (had to update apple id)

Help please ! been thru apple support as well as verizon....I upgraded phones, could not log into apple id, had to reset on pc....of course it said I could no longer use my phone number for apple id, so updated to my gmail. well now my verizon subscription says it's already in use with another apple id (presumably the phone number one) and apple says its verizon problem, which makes sense, i dont pay apple for apple music, i pay verizon.... verizon tech support first says go to apple support, and then has no solution to unlink it.....after i told them all the steps i already did....any help would be appreciated.
