Unable to sync my iPod classic with Windows 11 on my computer.
iPod's don't normally show in Windows unless they are in disk mode. If you can see it iTunes then that is a positive sign. When the iPod is synced with a library then any view of its contents will be greyed out as it isn't set up for manual management. See Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod using your computer - Apple Support. Changing which computer you sync with will want to erase everything currently on the device. See Recover media from an iPod - Apple Community to reclaim your media from the iPod if requried.

See Corrupt iPod Classic - Apple Community. What are your HDD stats? Let's try to exclude any potential hardware issues.
Assuming the stats are OK it might be time to restore the iPod and then reload it. As before, is there working content on the iPod that isn't in your library? I.e. will it play with headphones connect to the iPod rather than through your computer when connected, which we know it currently doesn't do?

I guess I'm out of ideas then. Give Apple Support a shot.
FWIW you can only play the content that is on an iPod when it is set up for manual management. The content will be greyed out when the device is set up for syncing with selected playlists etc. The view disappears when you disconnect the device. So that all sounds to be as expected.

What happens when you try?

Nothing just reads not syncing with iTunes. Windows 11 seems to be the problem. Maybe
What reads "not syncing with iTunes"? Have you set up a set of sync selections that you could sync? Is there content on the iPod that isn't in your library?

When I connect the iPod to the computer. The computer doesn’t recognize the iPod, and doesn’t sync. It shows all my play list, but they are ghosted and will not play.
When I run a diagnostic from the iTunes help list, I get a red light that reads that the iPod is not connected, not recognized. Thanks for your help. Much appropriated
If it shows up in iTunes then I think you can ignore the diagnostic. Am I wrong about it showing in iTunes?

Nothing on the iPod is being synced. It shows up like it is there, but it is only ghost, if you try to play it, it will not play. Once you unplug the iPod, it disappears
The iPod plays all my music perfectly with headphones or with my Bose sound dock.
Thanks for trying already tried apple. Now what???
