13 pro max battery showing 99% after two month

Same here 99 percent in two months and I have barely charged the battery passed 90 percent ever been taking utmost care about the battery.

I know people having 10 months age still it’s 100 percent

it’s really disappointing

add to that my camera opens on its one at least 10 times a day

I have 98% 4 months;

Charge cycles: 30 (checked with iMazing on the MacBook Pro);

+/- Always plugged in to charge for the first month;

Always used with Magsafe Battery Pack for the others 3 months.

How many Charge cycles you all have?

Its very strage situation because I have always used the ip X, XS, XR, 11pro with the smart battery case and always I had 100% of battery health at 100% after more than 1 year.

Basically I checked the battery charge using iMazing (and using all the oginal Apple charger and cable) in wifi and I saw that even if connected in charge or to the Magsafe Battery Pack the battery discharge from the level 100% to 94% and then start to recharge again to the level 100% and the discharge (Maybe for not have the battery always in tension I think).

With the iP X, XS, XR, 11 pro it is not so but always at level 100%.

Well my best friend bought his at the release of the iPhone 13 Pro Max and he is still at 100%.

My girlfriend bought her regular 13 in February and has it at 100%.

Mine 13 Pro Max made 5 days ago 3 months and yesterday he changed from 100% to 99%.

I got worried about comparing it to my friends usage and taking in consideration that he doesn’t take care about the battery following all the health tips.

Now he got 9+ months with 100% battery life that’s a record.

I went to Apple Store and they told me that all iPhones have different health. For instance my best friends phone can have 104/105% but his iPhone only shows 100 because it’s the iOS and how it is build to show.

for instance I got mine in exact 100% battery life. U can check ur health using the cocount app in ur MacOS. Those who have 100% are maybe the lucky guys who had their phones with a little more battery life.

Good analysis. Keep in mind that a battery is a chemical device, and chemistry is generally pretty variable and uncertain, as well as being analog, not digital. Apple specs the battery capacity to remain above 80% for 500 full charge cycles, but that is a minimum requirement; there is no published maximum expected capacity. So sometimes batteries will perform much better than that minimum specification, and sometimes the change in maximum capacity won't be linear. 

98% after 6months. I changed my charging method, before I did 30%-80% for 1month then the battery health drop to 99% and I tried to charge it at 20%-100% after 5months my battery health is 98%

So, i think much better to charge it when it drops to 20%

Yes, unfortunately, I didn't have enough knowledge to ask questions and get help. I also need help with camera settings and improving the quality of photos. I feel that the quality and details of the photos are not interesting.

I was very worried about the health of the battery because a friend of mine told me that it is strange for a percentage to drop in a week, but after five months it was 99% and then a week later it was 98%.

Thank you very much, you think it's normal to drop to 99%, which I agree is inevitable, but after dropping to 99%, it dropped to 98% a week later, that seems a bit fast.

You are spending way too much time worrying about a battery that is performing above average. An average battery will be down to about 80% after 20-24 months. Replace the battery when it gets down to 80%, which will probably be closer to 36 months for you.

It is so normal that iMazing shows that battery health is 103.0% (as you can see in screenshot attached) instead of 96% as show the my iphone 13 Pro Max.

I trust iMazing a lot and it is very accurate by calculating even the first decimal of the values.

I have all the statistics since i activated the iphone in february and I prefer investigate things.....

I hope that Apple will release a software update that recalibrates the percentage of health health as happened for the iphone 11 pro and 11 pro max.

Suggestion: try to use iMazing or Coconut battery.

The fact that iMazing shows the value to some number of places past the decimal does not, in and of itself, mean it's "very accurate".

That’s pretty good… Mine is at 90% after 10mths.. so average about 1% every 2weeks.

Fan boys here say that’s perfectly normal just because cause Apple says that is normal so we should just accept it…lol

That math doesn't make sense. If your battery capacity is down by 10% after 10 months, that means an average of 1% a month.

The battery health decrease is often not linear. It may hold steady for a while then drop more rapidly. However, you're still in the normal range of what one would expect to see.

Hi, if ur battery health is at 90% after 10 months and the battery health drop down 1% +/- every 2 weeks....

so the battery health con drop down of others 11% in +/- 22 weeks (+/- 5.5 months).

So basically the battery health dropped down of 21% in +/- 15.5 months.

So Apple will replace the battery for free because the battery did not maintain 80% capacity?

I hope that Apple will release a software update that can recalibrate the real battery health like for same situation happened for iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max....

About the "still mediocre health".... I think exactly the same of U.
