Furstration with M1 Mac Terminal - ls, mkdir almost all commands gets killed.

How did it got fixed? I am having the same issue after I received new updates from Apple on Monterey. I have spent 4 non-productive hours which is insane on this expensive M1 Mac!

Finder is extremely slow in Mac M1 Finder is extremely slow at copying, moving, and unzipping files. The speed is much faster when I do it over the terminal. It seems like there is a bug. This is quite disappointing, as I am using a Mac M1 which is supposed to be really fast.

same problem. I now tend to believe all of shells commands are getting killed. There is something wrong went in in the recent update.

I will update to 12.2.1 in a few minutes and will check. I don't think this is something widespread, or I would have heard an outcry...

I do have my backup of 12.2. I will let you know.

In your Terminal Preferences, for your given profile, does this appear blank on your settings? It should.

I have just updated to 12.2.1 and I have no problem running zsh, or bash, or tcsh.

There must have been some software modification on your setup that is causing this.
