Playing a song from your library for your alarm

I’m having issues setting a song from my music library as an alarm all it does is vibrate. I don’t have this problem with my iPhone 12 ProMax or my iPhone 11ProMax. I’ve done everything including a soft reset. Can you please fix this issue. Thank you

My new iPhone 13 mini will not play song for alarm I just overpaid for a new iPhone 13 mini, and unlike my old SE, it will not play the song I select for the alarm. The song is downloaded onto the phone. I found complaints about this going back to last November. Pretty annoying to pay $400 more for this phone, and a function this simple doesn’t work!

The song needs to be on the device and not on iCloud see the pic below for the Alarm clock to play a song.
