Aux just started being messed up

So my phone started recently playing quieter on aux in the car, its just way down and everything is suppressed over how it was before at all the same volume , it does however play louder on a different phone, it was how mine did sound, both iphones, i did get a new aux cord didnt really help, and pretty sure not the dongle piece since i had a plugin one piece with the aux and lightning cable in one , but it will sometimes play normal or just louder at least for maybe 20 minutes max then go down and i can really hear it in the bass, help would be appreciated

Check Settings -> Sounds & Haptics -> Headphone Safety and make sure “Reduce Loud Sounds” is not enabled.

Hello Eklos246,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities about your iPhone playing the volume lower while connected to the aux cable. Thanks for the troubleshooting you tried already too.

You may try and see if the issue occurs with other connectors, or if moving the connector while the iPhone is playing, to see if this is something with the port on your iPhone.

You can also check the port for dust, dirt, and debris, but if found, you may want to make an appointment to have it removed safely. Sticking something in the port may damage the pins inside there.

Thanks.
