Charging iPhone 7 when powered off.
If I power off my iPhone 7 then plug in the charger, it automatically powers back on! Is there any way to stop this happening and do the new iPhones behave in the same way?

Yes, all iPhones behave that way. There is no reason to charge with the phone turned off, and if you do you lose the benefit of overnight optimized charging. But if you really want to charge it with the power off connect it to power first, then turn it off.
