Recently when i have been receiving phone calls on my iphone 13 it has been ringing once and then declining it. It says “answered on another device” My wife calling is off and calls on other devices is off. there is no other number connected to my apple Id. does anyone have any suggestions to fix this?

What is more important is what devices are associated with your Apple ID.
Check Settings > [your Apple ID] and check the devices shown toward the bottom there.

Go to Settings/Phone. Is Call Forwarding turned off?
My apple watch and macbook are the only other devices that are shown connected to my apple id
i don’t think it’s my lap top, it hasn’t been turned on in a while. so where do i go on my watch to see if it’s intercepting the call?
When the call comes in it will appear on the watch face, where you can answer it.
i have also turned my apple watch off and while it was off the call still said answered on another device
So, one of those devices is intercepting your call.
