My Apple car play app in my car is faded. It’s like it doesn’t recognise my phone. I connect other iPhones and the app works fine so it’s not the car. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max.

If CarPlay doesn't activate automatically, look for the CarPlay logo on your car's display. Restart your iPhone and your car. Make sure that Siri is on. ... Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions, tap Allowed Apps and make sure that CarPlay is enabled.
