Caller ID issues

When I go into settings to turn off 'Show My Caller ID' the slider doesn't load, I just get a continuous spinning wheel. I have installed the latest iPhone update and have restarted my phone but I still have the issue. I would like to be able to show my caller ID which is currently turned off. Any assistance appreciated.
