I cannot play tropic escape using my iPhone 13 hotspot but when I put my sim into my old iPhone 6 it works fine.

I am connecting an iPad Air to my iPhone 13 to play an online game. I can’t use all of the games features when connected to the iPhone 13 but when I put my SIM card into my old iPhone 6 it works fine. It is as if the hotspot isn’t as good on the iPhone 13.
I am using iPhone XS, lately my hotspot connection is super slow too when I connected it with my iPad. But it only happens when I play game, I have no problem watching YouTube or any streaming platform. Not only happened in one game, all games are SUPER lag when I connected to hotspot. I also used PC to connect hotspot and play the same game, it lags too.
Your cellular carrier determines the use of your Personal Hotspot. Check with them, as you may need to check your cellular data settings. What is it that you are connecting to your iPhone's hotspot?
Again, discuss this with your carrier. I have an iPhone 13 Pro and my Hotspot works perfectly when needed, so long as I have ample signal on the phone.
