Hi, Hank7883, here's a suggestion that might be helpful to you: keep a usb keyboard around for 1st time/emergency/troubleshooting use. Same goes for mice, as Bluetooth stuff, especially on startup, tends to be iffy and not that reliable. Pretty much any usb keyboard and mouse will work... doesn't have to be Mac.....a Windows one will work just fine.....
