The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdw is listed as supported in the article About AirPrint - Apple Support. This means that you should not have to install additional drivers, provided that this AirPrint printer and the new Mac are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).


Connect an AirPrint printer to a Wi-Fi network – Apple Support (UK)


Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac – Apple Support (UK)


If necessary, and if all settings are OK, try the following procedure:

Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the Mac, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the Mac. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.
