Running Logic Pro X Projects From External Hard Drive
What's up everyone,
For the last couple of months I've been getting consistent disk too slow or system overload messages.
After doing some research I found out it's better to save Logic projects to an external hard drive so I moved all my projects as well as all the other audio files that I had on my internal hard drive to an external one but now I'm wondering if it's ok to open the projects as well as work on them while there on the external hard drive or do I have to move them back to the internal drive to work on them?
I also noticed the increase in the messages as I created more projects. My storage went from about 200 gigs remaining to 137 gigs remaining, I kind of think that had something to do with it. After moving all the projects and audio on my internal hard drive I'm back up to 251 gigs remaining, it's pretty much just system stuff that's on there now.
Thanks,
