Some locations can’t be saved in weather app

Has anyone else ever found that some locations can’t be saved in the weather app? For example, I volunteer on Ski Patrol at the Cataloochee Ski Area, so the weather forecast there is important to me. I can type in “Cataloochee” and Cataloochee Ski Area comes up selectable and I can see the weather forecast, but there is no “Add” in the upper right hand corner so it will be on my normal list of locations. I have to search for it everyday.

What is the explanation for this and can Apple fix it? Thanks

So I noticed if you already have a location saved, for obvious reasons you can’t add it again. A nearby town is Maggie Valley, which I had saved. I deleted Maggie Valley and then it let me save Cataloochee Ski Area. Then I was able to go back in and save Maggie Valley again. If anyone is wondering why I would have both, Maggie is at the base of the mountain and Cataloochee is the top, so the weather is often different by several degrees and precipitation.
