Brand new 13 pro cannot find/detect bluetooth devices to pair.

Brand new 13 pro cannot find/detect any bluetooth devices to pair. Here is where I am at currently:

  • I have turned off and on the phone, reset network settings and the problem still persists
  • my ios version is upto date (15..3.1)
  • bluetooth is on and in discovery mode,
  • my other ios devices can find the device which 13 pro cannot find and pair with them
  • although it cannot find and detect th devices itself, if the pairing request comes from another device (such as a car system) it pairs and works well.

Any help would bw appreciated.

What are the devices? Try troubleshooting the devices themselves. Some items have a small dot you need to press to get the connection going.

For Example:

When troubleshooting AirPods, your use the following...

A Few Thoughts:

Troubleshooting AirPods Connectivity:

A. Troubleshoot the Pairing:

Disable Bluetooth on all but one device — the one device you want to synchronize with these with.

B. Troubleshoot the Connection:

Using this via these Apple Support links, troubleshoot this.

C. Verify the Balance:

  1. Go to: Settings
  2. Tap: General
  3. Tap: Accessibility
  4. Scroll Down: to Hearing
  5. Adjust: the audio volume balance

Perhaps this is a Faulty Device?:

Note that you have a one-year, out-of-the-box, limited-warranty with this, if purchased from Apple. So, either return this (you have 14 days to do so), or contact Apple Support, seeing if you can get this fixed.

Contact Apple Support:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there as necessary
  • Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. And that makes sense because with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
